A total of five world titles were on the line from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Roman Reigns' historic stranglehold over the WWE has lived to see another day.

The Tribal Chief used a huge assist from The Bloodline to defeat LA Knight and retain his Undisputed Universal Championship at WWE Crown Jewel 2023 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday. His streak as champion is now 1,161 days.

Knight looked like he had Reigns defeated after delivering the BFT out of nowhere. But as the referee's count hit two, Jimmy Uso draped his cousin's leg onto the bottom rope for the champ to survive.

Knight turning his attention to Uso, slamming him through the announcers' table, bought Reigns just enough time to spear the surging challenger through the outside barricade in what proved to be the turning point of the match.

Back in the ring moments later, Reigns unleashed yet another spear to defeat Knight.

Elsewhere on the card, Seth Rollins defeated Drew McIntyre to retain his WWE World Heavyweight Championship, while Logan Paul shocked Rey Mysterio to become the new U.S. Champion.

Here's how the entire WWE Crown Jewel 2023 event went.
