Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has hinted to give some of them ministries in the government during the election period if they want. However, he said that those who are not in the parliament like BNP, are not worried about the issue. The prime minister said, "If any of those who are in the parliament express their desire that they want to come to the government during the election, we are willing to accept it."
The Prime Minister said this in response to a journalist's question at a press conference organized at Ganobhaban on Monday afternoon. This press conference is organized to inform about Japan, USA and UK. The press conference was broadcast live on various private televisions including BTV. In the beginning, the Prime Minister gave a written speech about the achievements of the three-country tour, agreements made there and future plans. Then he answered various questions of the journalists.
The very last question in the press conference was the upcoming parliamentary elections. How will the government be during the election? Will there be any opposition party in it? How do you feel about the BNP movement? In response to this, the prime minister first said with a smile, "What am I going to do now?" Are you afraid that the election is coming? Why be afraid? I am working for the people. If the people vote, I am. If you don't give it, you don't.
The Prime Minister mentioned that Bangladesh follows the Westminster system of the United States. He said, the same way the elections are held there, the elections will be held in Bangladesh in the same way.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said about keeping the opposition in the government during the election period, "We can show this much generosity." If any of those who are in the parliament express their desire that they want to come in the government during the election, we are ready to take it. We have shown this generosity before. I even invited Khaleda Zia in 2014. They didn't come. Now they are not in the parliament. So there is nothing to worry about them.

Awami League president Sheikh Hasina said about BNP's agitation program, "They are carrying out agitation by putting on a microphone. Remove the government! We are not saying anything to them? What let us down when we were in opposition? Tried to kill with grenade attacks. 21 thousand of our leaders and workers were killed. People were killed by fire.
Referring to the incident of arson in BNP's agitation programme, the Prime Minister said that they have burnt 500 schools to prevent elections. Three and a half thousand people were burned in the fire. 3 thousand 800 cars, 27 trains, nine launches, 70 government offices were burnt. He said, "I told them to protest, there is no objection." But if the burning is going to do something, if someone burns like this again, then I will not leave him. I will not allow people to be harmed again.
He lamented, "Burnt people cannot hold their own children." You can't go anywhere with your looks. What terrible situation has created this BNP-Jamaat?
In 2008, the 20-party alliance led by BNP got 29 seats, Sheikh Hasina said, 'They talk big again! And brokerage? Whose money is doing this movement? Where are you getting money from?'
He also said, 'Are the people of Bangladesh so blind that they do not see with their eyes? Thousands of crores of rupees have been looted. And who is helping, don't you take a look? Where is getting so much money? Whoever brings Putting on the microphone and giving speeches every day. This is not happening for free. How much money is being paid, how many people will bring? There are calculations of how many people will ride on the motorcycle.
The Prime Minister said about a news related to holding an election meeting by blocking the road in Gazipur, "The BNP is holding a meeting in front of their office by blocking the road every day in the heart of the city!" This wise man speaks, this scene is not visible? In front of the press club, Purana Paltan is blocking the road everywhere, why are they not visible?'
Indicating that the leaders of the party are benefiting from the movement of BNP, the Prime Minister said, "Something is benefiting, so be it." Movement as much as possible. I have no problem. I am with my people. Working for the people. People's trust is my only strength.
The prime minister got emotional mentioning the killing of family members including father, mother, brother. He said in a tearful voice, 'I have nothing to lose. I have lost my mother, father and brother. I am working for my country.
He said, "Those who look for our weakness and take account of money, Khaleda Zia and her two sons have done money laundering." I have recovered 40 crore rupees. BNP leaders' money is still deposited in banks of different countries. Some people have their money frozen. He also found out that money is being laundered and buying big names with foreign money.
Sheikh Hasina said, the more Awami League works, the more they stick behind it. That's the rule. So he doesn't care about them.
Referring to his job as welfare of people, the Prime Minister said, 'Bangladesh is moving forward. Many will not like it. Because those who opposed our freedom, those who supported the genocide, those who killed the father of the nation will not like it. They will be enmity against me.
Regarding the safety of his life, the Prime Minister said, 'I have become bomb proof. Can't even kill a bomb. Even though I was shot directly, I did not die. Grenade attack, not dead. Try as you might. Allah gives work. Allah gives man a task. Allah protects until that work is finished.
In response to another question, the Prime Minister said that he would not buy anything from the embargoed country again. He said that he has already given instructions to the Ministry of Finance on two such issues. However, he did not want to say anything more about the details.
