Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that Bangladesh will not buy anything from the countries that impose sanctions. He also said that he has instructed the Ministry of Finance in this regard.

The prime minister said these things in a press conference today in response to a question from journalists. Today's press conference was organized to inform the media about the visit to Japan, USA and UK.

In the press conference, the editor-in-chief of private television DBC News, Mohammad Manjurul Islam, asked, "There has been a statement that they will stop shopping with those who are sanctioning Bangladesh." Is there any reason to be afraid in that case?'

In response to this, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina asked, 'Why did you sanction us?'

The Prime Minister said, 'The whole world is plagued by militancy, everyone is terrified. At that time only one incident happened in our country in Holy Artisan. Many were saying that Bangladesh cannot handle it alone. But it didn't even take us 24 hours. In the meantime, we rescued people alive, we were able to attack those involved in the incident.

The Prime Minister mentioned, "Such a big incident could not happen in Bangladesh." Because, our law enforcement agencies, intelligence agencies have been monitoring and working in such a way that no further incident could happen. With whom I eliminated terrorism. After that what is the sanction for? That's why my question.

Sheikh Hasina said, "I took a decision for this and told our Finance Ministry, Planning Ministry, that we will buy things from abroad, there will be a clause - we will not buy anything from those who will sanction us." What is the crisis, fear?'

The Prime Minister also mentioned that Bangladesh is no longer dependent on anyone. Sheikh Hasina said, 'We can solve that problem by producing. We have proved that. The common people of the country have come to know that they are cultivating as much uncultivated land as they have.

Questioning what is the cause of so much anxiety, the Prime Minister said, "No words, no messages, Omni will scare us with sanctions." And we will sit quietly in fear, why? We made the country independent by the liberation war. We overcame those who made us fear the Seventh Fleet. Do not forget this. This confidence should be carried on. I will eat one meal, there is no problem.

To another question of the journalists, Sheikh Hasina said that the unfortunate thing is that some people of the country give bad name to Bangladesh. Protecting their interests, how many kinds of corruption, malfeasance, money laundering they are involved in, the journalists do not find out. If you find out, you will find many people there. They will give bad name to Bangladesh.

The Prime Minister said there are some labor leaders. You will eat and drink yourself, drive well, drive expensive cars. Movement on the environment. Sued, sued, how many cases have been decided? After every case comes negotiation. Negotiation means exchange. The bad name of Bangladesh comes from Ayesha.

Referring to Bangladesh, a country of fertile land, Sheikh Hasina said, "People of the country are very strong." Our women's society, youth society, common people all work. I will eat by myself.
